Reclaim 1.2.0

Reclaim is a browser extension that makes Instagram more intentional while keeping deliberate account, profile, search and messaging use available.

Core behavior

• Home always resolves to Instagram's Following feed.
• Instagram Home/logo links are rewritten to /?variant=following.
• Reels navigation is hidden.
• A deliberately opened Reel stays in Single Reel mode instead of becoming an endless vertical Reel feed.
• Home feed switching controls are hidden.
• Search/Explore recommendation controls and idle Explore tiles are cleaned conservatively.
• Suggested-account blocks, profile follower lists and profile following lists are not hidden by built-in rules.

Hide More

Users can optionally choose additional Instagram elements to hide. These rules are stored locally with chrome.storage.local and can be removed again from the Reclaim popup.
